If you’ve ever been overwhelmed by all of the different philosophies and disciplines that accompany yoga, then this class is for you. Fitness Yoga is a demystified, contemporary approach to yoga for people who are looking for a simple, non-threatening introduction to this ancient health practice. 

What is Fitness Yoga?
Fitness Yoga is a balanced body and mind workout that encompasses the basic principles of fitness. We will be building strength without strain or bulk as we sweat. We will also be working all muscle groups evenly in each class. And finally, we will be working on improving our mind’s ability  to increase strength, willpower, concentration, and determination while increasing strength and endurance.

Regular Fitness Yoga workouts will give you increased muscle tone, increased flexibility, and better overall health and fitness, which will lead to a lower risk of injury and chronic pain. Each class will be taught with modifications for different flexibility and fitness levels. No previous experience is necessary. Everyone is welcome.
